Ted Walsh is a solo artist and member of several bands in Upstate New York. His recent projects include the Ithaca band GoGone, the Cortland-based band Unreal City, and a duet collaboration called Madd Daddy with his daughter, Maddy Walsh. He has been in many bands through the years, including The Polecat Bar Band, Eddy's Basement, Hall Pass, and The Beauchesnes.
Walsh is a multi-instrumentalist who has played guitar, mandolin, keyboards and bass in different projects. He has also released two solo albums, “American Lit,” in 2001, and “Historical Fiction” in 2020, as well as a collection of his own songs in The Beauchesnes 2018 album, “Twilight Interstate.” Madd Daddy also released a 2018 album called “That Good Life,” with five songs co-written by Ted and Maddy Walsh. He continues to write and produce his own music and record demos in his Ithaca studio.
